Whistleblowers, GAO reveal TSA’s screening processes are a total joke


The Transportation Safety Administration failed to catch dozens of potential security threats working inside American airports.

Perhaps worse: the TSA is also handing out expedited screening status to individuals listed on various government watch lists, including the infamous “no-fly” list. Whistleblowers who exposed the problems with the TSA’s Pre-Check program say it is the weakest part of what seems to be a dangerously weak network of security protecting American airports.

FAILING AT EVERY LEVEL: The TSA’s pre-screening process, it’s screening of airport employees and it’s actual screening of passengers have all been subject to scrutiny in recent weeks. And for good reason.  More
